FreePrints Summer Social Media Competitions – Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to both the 'Summer Snaps' competition on Facebook and the 'My Summer Edit' competition on Instagram, running during Summer 2025.

1. HOW TO ENTER:
- Facebook – Summer Snaps: To enter, comment with a photo under the official contest post on the FreePrints UK Facebook page.
- Instagram – My Summer Edit: To enter, comment on the official contest post with three words that sum up your summer. You may also tag a friend for an additional entry (maximum of two entries per person per week on Instagram).

2. ELIGIBILITY:
- Open to legal residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
- No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
- Employees of FreePrints, its parent companies, affiliates, agents, or any person professionally associated with the contest are not eligible.
- Entrants may participate in both competitions, but only one entry per person per week on Facebook and a maximum of two entries per week on Instagram is allowed.

3. COMPETITION PERIOD
- The competitions will run for five consecutive weeks:
- Start date: 29 July 2025
- End date: 1 September 2025 at 11:59pm (BST)
- There will be one Facebook post and one Instagram post each week inviting entries.

4. PRIZES
- A total of £500 in FreePrints photo product vouchers will be awarded over the five-week competition period.
- Each week, one winner will be selected from Facebook entries and one winner from Instagram entries:
- 5 x £50 vouchers for Facebook winners
- 5 x £50 vouchers for Instagram winners
- Vouchers will be delivered in the form of voucher codes for the choice of either the FreePrints app or the FreePrints Photobooks app
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternatives.
- A participant may win more than once, provided they meet entry requirements and are selected randomly during multiple weeks.

5. WINNER SELECTION AND INFORMATION

- Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries each week.
- Winners will be notified by direct message on the platform used to enter within 7 days of the weekly contest closing.
- If a winner does not respond within 5 working days, FreePrints reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

6. RIGHTS AND USAGE
- All Facebook photo entries must be taken by the entrant or submitted with the original photographer’s permission.
- By entering either competition, participants grant FreePrints a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use their submitted content (including Instagram comments or Facebook photos) for the purpose of promoting the Summer Snaps and My Summer Edit competitions on FreePrints’ owned social media channels, website, and email communications during and after the contest period.
- FreePrints will not use any submitted content for broader commercial or marketing purposes (unrelated to the competition) without first obtaining the entrant’s explicit permission.

7. PLATFORM DISCLAIMER

- These competitions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, or Instagram.
- You are providing your information to FreePrints and not to Meta.

8. GENERAL
- FreePrints reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the competitions or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
- FreePrints accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, or misdirected entries.
- FreePrints is not liable for any technical issues, system failures, or disruptions that may prevent participation.
- Entries that are deemed offensive, inappropriate, infringing, or otherwise unsuitable may be removed and disqualified at FreePrints’ discretion.
- The decision of FreePrints in all matters related to these competitions is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
